TGIF

Just in time for the weekend, a co-worker sends me this article on counting the calories in your cocktails.

I know we've talked about this before, so this is just a few more details.

Thanks to everyone's comments I'm generally drinking red wine when and if I imbibe. (Hey, they say it helps your heart!) But it's also something I tend to drink slower, which also means less calories.

The liquor is what always gets me, even when I avoid the crap food.

I feel sort of anti-social not drinking with friends -- and I like liquor. In a way that doesn't end with me in rehab. The way I like chocolate.

It's really hard to remember that literally, everything counts when you're watching calories.

Hey Laird Hamilton drinks red wine. Of course, he's a professional athlete whose workout regimen includes hauling logs across the beach.

Umm ... you may gotten me to do capoeira, but I am not hauling logs across a beach!
